Top 5 Flash Drive Designs

Data storage has come along by leaps and bounds over the past 20 years. It wasn’t all that long ago that we were using 3.5 inch floppies with a “massive” capacity of 1.44MB. Nowadays, our storage is even more portable, more durable, and boasts MUCH larger storage capacities. One of, if not the most, common forms of removable storage now are USB flash drives. Small, lightweight, and durable, they provide a perfect means of moving, archiving, or copying data from one place to another. When they were first released commercially in 2000, they had a capacity of 8MB. This capacity has been steadily increasing year after year and currently the largest available commercially is offered by Kingston and holds 256GB of data, however, its cost is currently around $900. As our lives become more digital and our data more important, shouldn’t we have a little fun with our storage devices? Here’s Caissy’s Top 5 Fun Flash Drive Designs:
